Boschkop Dam info needed

Hi
Well you know the saying crime is everywhere, been to Boschkop for the past 3 weekends on the vaal , next to steyns.
The fishing is awesom but you need to take your line in deep , so hopefully you have a canoe, bait boat or so forth, guys were taking lines very deep.
Make a feeding spot if you have the above, use a PVA bag like an onion sack put two cricks in and the rest of what you feel you should feed with I use chick chick and sorghum beer.
Drop all your lines near to this , Use 1 hook traces and a big mieliebomb when dropping you line next to these spots.
I used Vicks Floaties dipped in Plakker and it worked like a bomb. Caught about 16 Fish mostly carp and two babers not less then 2-3 hours since feeding spot was made.Worked magic. Be careful not to take your eyes of the line at times. When the wind start add an extra hook as for some reason that is the time they bit. Good luck.
Dont worry too much of the crime , you have to ensure your stuff is packed away safely and not leave things laying around like some stupid people . All the best.

boschkop is a great venue abultions top class if not the best at any resort on the vaal,
yes there is a theft issue but mainly petty theft, its simple dont leave stuff lying around at night when going to bed put bait boat,shoe etc away.
have not have anything stolen from myself as yet but have had neigbours being relieved of a cooler box and some shoe's.

what has worked well there(and pretty much anywhere on the vaal) is sweet dips a must have for me would "pink sweets"dips aswell as the floatie and honey glow works a charm
