M miles Sealiner Jan 10, 2009 #4 Hiya Garmins Bluecharts are used for units that don't have a slot for the cards. Generally, handheld units will need these Bluecharts. At R1500-2000 for the CD, they are not cheap!! Trying buying the CD over the net, as its generally MUCH cheaper, at under R1000!! Regards miles

N neilg Sealiner Jan 10, 2009 #5 if your cd got lost/damaged why not try and contact them, have details of your unit (incl Serial nr) ready, and ask for the price to replace the cd I cannot believe that it's not possible. I think it's more a case of people not trying.
