Blue Marlin Boss Dropshot Rods

Alo,

Was browsing through ESA mag and saw the Blue Marlin Dropshot Rods.

See they come with 2 tips,looks like a decent rod.

Anyone own it as yet and what you think

2 words...."Passion stick" gentlemen..the only thing better is a fenwick...but fenwick's are ridiculously expensive! Also the passion stick doubles very well as a spinning set up...

Gotta agree with master ,i've recently bought myself a passion stick 2pc dropshot rod and for once i'm satisfied...though the rod specifications say its capable of handling a 1ounce jig it can easily push a 2 which makes it awesome for spooning as well...

Just got me a blue marlin Boss drop shot rod - nice feel, cast like a dream.

Price not to bad N$375 same as rand.

Fully agree with the master on both those rods.

Dont even bother with anything else.

I have a 8ft Berkley Hot Rod and a 3 piece Temple Fork Outfiters 7ft rod and they both are awesome rods.

I have just put in my order for a Berkley 9ft extra heavy spinning rod (1/2 to 3 ounce) with a Shimano Sustain 5000 (the older model.....it's what fitted the budget. The latest model SUSTAIN was a beaut, but the cost was prohibitive). Went to Mias in Randburg, got both rod and reel for R2100-00.
