Betty's Bay this weekend

Can anyone please help, I would like to go spearing at Betty's on Sunday, can anyone give me an idea of what the conditions are like or would be like?

Hey there bud, at the moment there's not much swell. I'm stuck in strand and it looks ok. But not sure what the viz is like. Definitely worth checking out.

Dived on tuesday about 15kms after gordons bay towards rooi els. Just parked on the side of the road and walked down the cliff/very steep hill. Viz was good but swell thumped us a bit. Got hammered on the rocks a bit. But will check it out again when swell drops.

I shot 1 and shifty shot 1. Will definitely shoot a lot more there when its calmer as the structure is amazing there. From kelp to overhangs. Was really nice.

It looks like the swell will be dying down towards Sunday- I just hope that today & tomorrow's huge swells don't kill the viz completely...

What do you guys think- would conditions be better on this side or at Simon's town?

Yeah lets hope this swell doesn't mess it all up. Sunday should be fine, otherwise mid week next week should be ok. Even though the swell doesn't drop completely should be fine if there is viz. I will definitely be in the water with old faithful "shifty".
