When playing fish on a 0.8 with it's reduced hook hold you have to use the rod to draw the fish closer and nore reel the fish in. Reeling the fish in and especially with braid you will loose a lot of fish

There is no 0.25mm 80lbs braid. If it is Whiplash the actual diameter of the 0.25mm is 0.37mm

About the Whiplash. It is much thicker than stated yes. I have a reel that takes 280 meters of .40 line. It is full with only 250 meters of the (25mm) 80lb Whiplash...

Hi Enigma,

This Weekend In the Vaal River, I tried the Ryoichi Hooks and Those "Other Hooks" you said I should Try , and Was very Impressed.

Did not lose a single Fish on the Trip and Caught more than 40 Fish over the Weekend.

Biggest was 5kg.
