Berkley 2" Saltwater shrimp

Hi.Any of you ouens have success using berkley shrimp in the surf zone in CT?
I'm not planning to use dropshot kit,just gona use it as a normal bait.

i saw a youngster dropshotting at blakes. looked like he was using dropshot worms and got bites. later that day we caught "small white stump"

with a shrimp i like to let it drift in gullies and it works wonders!
