Bed Chair debate

Hi Guys,

I did read the old thread which basically said all bed chairs available locally are not really great, I am however in the market for one and do not want to spend and arm and a leg, Out of whats available in the shops here what should I look at and where can I get it.

Ive got the normal makro campmaster one, going for 3 + years now,
its bang for your buck is not to bad, and its pretty wide also, They go for about 1299, then theres the new deluxe going for 2200, its really comfy and padded but for doible the price I dont know

My bud told me to have a look at the Jackal - when my collar broke at last weekend's session..

He explained the support it has and i think it's also a 3 legged outfit - Now he isn't one that also just buys anything but he reckons he would buy the Jackal if he was in the market - he weighs much more than I do so perhaps that's an option.......for me anyway "locally"

Have a look at your local mica,I bought a kaufmann 6 leg for R800 a couple months ago.

Would not touch a Jackel product with a 6 foot pole.

Import yourself something proper, Nash, Trakker etc. You will have a bed for many years.

Jackel sells cheap rebranded Chinese crap.

I will investigate importing and check costs, short on budget that's the problem and with many sessions planned I need something to sleep on, My army kit is killing me lol.

You wouldn't by any chance know of someone selling a second hand decent one??

There are a couple of pages in the new "The Carp Angler" magazine regarding bed chairs complete with ratings...maybe it helps with a decision...maybe it doesn't...

I import Trakker stuff but you are looking at R2000 minimum on shipping.

The Trakker beds cost between 150GBP and 300GBP.
