Bass Tackle Demands

Guys

Fishing glue: I've tried ordering some from Bass Pro Shop's over the Net but failed as they cannot ship the stuff currently.  Does anybody know where I can buy a bottle here in SA.  Alternatively does anybody have a bottle that he/she are willing to part with at a fee no too expensive?

Give me a PM, if you're able to help, Please?

BTW I recall earlier postings re chatterbaits, MIAS Fourways had some when I was there this afternoon.

Does anyone know where I can buy some Junebug curlytails? Tried most of the shops around Jhb north, everyone seems to be out of stock!

Boet, Fishing Glue is well glue that apparently is used in glueing baits to hooks and repairing ripped soft baits and apparently it stays soft and flexible so that your lures last all that much longer.

There are two makes that I've found on the Net, and the 1 I tried to order was from Bass Pro Shop, if you go to the Website and execute a search for fishing glue, you'll be able to see an example of the stuff and read up a little about it.

However, I'm struggling my ASS off to get my hands on some, hence the request if somebody knows where I can get the stuff from in South Africa.

Curly tails in June Bug? Who's making them, I know that Bassworld in Centurion behind Makro has some Zoom Fat Alberts in June Bug, Grubs with curlled tails.

I'm also going to Rod & Marine just off Zambezi drive in the northern side of Pretoria, maybe I can have a look for them for you, just tell me who make's them and their exact name if you can?

Good Morning LGF,

Zoom makes these, I haven't fished for a few years now (lived in that cold place called London for a few years) but they used to work like a charm. I had a few packs of these before leaving SA but it seems that my bro found my stash and now theres noting!!

Thanks,

Oki-doki, I've got a couple left and can't remeber where on earth I bought them, I think it was at a place called Zambezi Angling, I have been there last week and can't recall seeing some, but will have a look out at Rod & Marine this afternoon for you, If they've got, do you want me to buy you some and maybe get them to you at a oint in time or would you just like to get info on where to buy them, it's not a hastle for me either way.

I also used them a while ago at Buffelspoort and landed about 7 LGF's when my Bud using watermelon seed flukes only hooked one.

If they have stock and you don't mind getting me a pack I would appreciate it. I have also used these at Murray Park before (was a few years ago though) and went though a whole pack in one afternoon. Fishing from the side - Texas rig, on the opposite side of the dam as you enter.

Thanks again!

Went to that tackle shop on Friday, but they didn't have any, I'll pop in at another place this afternoon to check whether they perhaps have some, I do however saw the Fat Albert Grubs in that colour at Bass world, but those thin one are very scarce.

Thanks, don't worry about it. Got some Junebug Zoom Finesse worms that seems to be doing the trick.

Thanks anyway,

Did you check the report of Murray aprk yesterday, caught that nice one on the Junebug curly tails from Zoom, that I bought at Bassworld (if memory serves me well) a while ago.

Hey, update your profile so we can "see you better", are you from Pta or JHB?

Asking because I wanna know if you know Bassworld in Centurion?

I did indeed, good to see that them LGF's at Murray Park still like the junebug. Spent my Sunday at Bronkies.

I'm actually from Phalaborwa, but now live in Jhb. Never been to Bassworld, usually just go to MIAS Fourways as it's just around the corner from where I work. I only recently started hunting again as I spent a few years in the UK. But believe me, now that I've started again I just can't stop! Would go every weekend if I could!

Does Bassworld have a big variety?

Bassworld must be one of the Bass-shops that has the biggest variety, in the Pretoria area anyway, however you won't find everything there, especially when it comes to gear, baits, I'd say they've got a big variety.

I unfortunately can't draw a comparison between Bass-world and Mias to give you an idea about Bass-world, as I haven't been to Mias in over a year or even two, so better go check it out, even if only to perhaps buy with the eye.

Let me know if you want directions, is quite simple to get there from JHB.

Just wanted to tell you that Bassworld in Centurion have some packet of those Zoom junebug curlytails left, they also have some of the U-tales and other ones in the same colour, can't remeber their description.

Johanvc, Make haste if you still wanna get some for the comp this weekend or have you already stocked up for the comp?

Tight lines Johanvc, hope you guys bust some serious Green Thang Assssss, and come out tops.

I'll be hoping for a new PB this weekend at Buffelspoort, with the launch of the ducky on her Maiden, would be nice.........
