Bass need glasses

I read a article last night that said bass have very poor eye sight and rely on there ability to detect motion to catch their food.

Question 1: How true is this?

Question 2: Then why does dead sticking sometimes work so well?

Question 3: Would it then not make sense to fish with things that give off loads of vibrations in the water.

Question 4: If bass need glasses then why the colour of your bait so important?

At night they rely heavely on their sense of movement hwever I also dont know how important sight is.

What I have heard is that bass have very good sight. And that they rely heavily on senses in dirty water. So that’s where vibration comes in to play

Watch a school of rats in clear water they all cordon around your lure, irrespective of what it is As long as it's the right colour, now try and move it without getting their attention into hyperdrive, almost impossible, you will get strikes if it's the right colour, and they all do this facing the lure.

Silly question does the Junebug Fat albert vibrate differently from say the Watermelonseed Fat albert? NOPE it doesn't so..... glasses? I don't know, but suspect that they can see pretty good (in all kinds of water). and that bit better in clear water.
