Bass near Balfour

Going to Fortuna over easter weekend with the "future inlaws". And i would like to know if there is any good bass fishing in or near balfour?

If you are aware of any, please dont be shy to give a heads up on what baits I should invest in.... My collection isnt that big at the moment.

Hey brudda the municipal dam is very nice.

 

We were staying at a place called highland springs who proclaimed they had two good bass dams and in the end resorted to the municipal dam, which delivered some good fish.

 

We caught mostly on soft plastics in natural colours around the inlet and the wall. Be on the lookout for structure ie reeds and trees.

I dont have a boat. But I have a feeling a few of the people im going with will be taking boats.
