Loskop always fishes well at that time of year. Most bass fishermen know this so the dam usually sees a fair bit of boat traffic. The dam has already started producing good fish with lots of fish cruising the shallows scouting nests.

The banks from Aventura all the way to the dam wall are popular spawn banks and you will see the boats lined up on this stretch. The bays up towards the river also always hold fish - banks that have some of the isolated rock and timber hold fish too.
