BALZER Rod Info

Hi there fellow anglers.

Anyone out there who can give me more background history & info on a Balzer rod, G420/6 , (13'7).

How does Blue Marlin Highlander fit into the pic ?
Which is the blank & which was the rod builders ?

I am looking at 1 very soon, merely saw it on the roof of my new friend's vehicle, so prepping myself with info.
I did not had a chance to get the feel of it as they were in a rush.

Hi,

I am speaking under correction, but I believe Balzer was an inhouse brand of Western Accessories in yesteryear, like WAFT is today.

I would presume that the rod had only been built on the BM Blank?

So much I was also told, but do you think I can get more info from a guy in the know wrt yesteryear rod itself ?
It's like looking for gold in my own house
