Once you enter the baja dam resort , go as far right as you can , fish that corner of the dam , spinner baits work very well so do brush hogs in texas style , fish the deeper structure and cat tail reeds , you will be sure to land a keeper or 2 that way

Hi there

I fished Baja recently. Zucas is right the best fishing spot is in the far right corner. U can also try and locate the dropoff at the opposite side of the inlet, there are a few gravel beds there. The best I have found for the dam is to use a green pumpkin fluhe Texas Or carolina rig. U have to fish slow.

If u go to the left of Baja u can fish at the inlet on the Nature reserve side. There are nice dropoffs there against the bank. Look for the river bed there. That area is good for spinnerbait and fluke as well.

Good luck

Its not fantastic but its not bad , id say 4 to 5 per half day , depends on how much effort you put into it , can be a very tough dam at times
