Bait Shop in Cape Town / Milnerton Area

Hello guys - I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction please - I occasionally need a small box (1-2kg) of pilchards/sardines for crayfishing and spinning.

I have literally driven up and down Milnerton area and as far as Seapoint but all I have found are regular fish shops selling what I hope to catch!

I have also done a forum search but only found a few odd references to some guys cell number.

Are there many/any fishing shops in the immediate Cape Town area that you know of that keep sardines, white mussel and prawns please?  Specifically those little brown boxes of pilchards...

Thank you BigBen - I've just had a look at the BigCatch website and they stock exactly what I'm looking for!  Plus PaardenEiland is really very close to the Cape Town CBD so it will be best for my bait needs.

I'm a novice at spinning really, so ready to upgrade a few items.  Look like they have lots of gear in stock.  Are their prices any good?

Glad to b able 2 help...Their pricing are very competitve and not excessive

Good, because I went there yesterday and came out with a new Shimano Reel and Vengance rod, before doing any more research as to pricing!

Nice shop, well stocked with all sorts - and it just goes on and on...

And they had bait in a freezer at the front door - just what I was looking for!
