The fastest way to learn artlure fishing is to join a club. There are club accross South Africa. You will learn in one year more how to effectively use artlure than you will ever be able to do yourself in a life time. Learning from the experts. I have join Salmo club about ten years ago. Salmo is now 30 years old and we have a nice family weekend at Maguga dam, Swaziland shorltly. It is such outings together with fellow arlure addictives that makes it so lekker! 
I have been able to learn from the best Artlure anglers, like Rene Sada. Club competition are mostly on a friendly base and the ideal time to share information on where, what and how to catch all species. If you wants to be more competitive you can fish leagues, provincials and nationals and if you are good, become a Protea angler.
