i'm wondering, 'cos i have a sea angling permit and used to have one for freshwater, which has now expired. now i've been trying to renew my freshwater license, but no-one in cape town seems to know what i'm talking about!

the guys at the post office seem to think the sea permit is also valid for freshwater, but i see no mention of freshwater anywhere on my permit...

can anyone clear this up for me please? and if i need a second permit, where do i buy it?

thanks,

pappi

These days even the tackle shops don't know what you are talking about. As far as I know there is now need for you to get a freshwater liscence. I dont know anyone that has got one.
