Hi kopps,wat are the most common and frequently caught species up in the bay areas itself |not the long piers etc? Just curious to no cos in dbn we get a heap load of bartails and pickhandle

Bartail, Dorries, Kings, pickhandle, salids and torpedo's mostly.

unfortunately the short pier can be dead at times, i think we should not stick to just one spot and consider a sort of adventure theme where we visit a few spots. Start at short pier and then pelican island etc etc...

Now if John can arrange a visit to the South Pier... that would ROCK

The venue will be Pelican Island. It is most probably the safest and easiest place to fish as we will have women and kids in the compo as well. Plz guys, I mentioned that every entry will receive 4 packs of dropshots. My one supplier sponsored 400 packs of dropshots to the value of R10,000! Please note that only the first 100 entries will receive these packs. At first I thought there will never be so many entries, but now I see a different story with the amount of people that already contacted me.

Only the canal pier will be open, and if there is to many entries then we will open the second pier as well. I got some guys who will help me with the camera work.
