Flip man for comp angling at those ranges why dont you just use bobbins with isotopes/betalights? they a lot cheaper and do the job perfectly, you even get them with different weight modules you screw on. Also, the ball line clips are easier to manage. I use Bobbins, I prefer them to swingers... Momo had some for sale there... :cool:

We don't even need the isotopes. We used those good old fluro lights, attached them to a large snap swivel and put that on the line. It was not used to detect a bite, just to show us where the fish is when fighting it. It slides right down to where the fish is, without spooking it.

Right guys i have come to the conclusion on what to do.
I will get some decent swingers (Fox MKII's) and still use the cheapie alarms that we have. I will just replace the LED's with ultra bright one's to show which rod had a bite.
