Posting here since there under the general posts since its very quiet elsewhere (Admin u can move the thread if u want)
I want to know if there's still affordable self catering accommodation around the vaal river or vaal dam? Looking for a basic chalet/cottage close to the water? It's tough times and there really is people who cant afford say R600 a night or upwards for a couple. Much as I would like to support these resorts, they must also meet us halfway? Unless they dont struggle to attract enough customers then I will fully retract my statements. .
Camping is often cheaper and actually makes much more locations more accessible but not everyone has tents/caravans or other means to camp so I'm talking only self catering here.
