I am new here so please forgive me if i am posting in the incorrect place.
I am in the market for a dual purpose boat (offshore fishing & family fun at the dam). I am looking for something like the explorer or the discovery with two 40/50 Yamahas T&T. I will use the boat maily for fishing in the harbour & backline.
Can any one help which is the perfered option?
I test drove the descovery today in windy conditions & handle fine. I want to still test drive the Explorer.

Deeper sides - children safer
Higher nose - better in rough conditions
