Addicted wife

So by now you will all see that my wonderful wife is starting to become addicted to fishing and is taking every opportunity to head out in the harbour to look for some Grunter (which she thinks makes the cutest noise!) so once again we pack the rods in the car, load up the kids and Dodger (who, I must say, has some nice Bling on his rod - will post the video of that a bit later as well!) and head off for a bit of late afternoon/early evening fishing in the harbour. I headed for one of my favorite spots and it was not long before Dodger had the first catch, it was a small Puffer!  Clare also got stuck into a couple of Cape Stump Noses again and was quite happy letting the kids reel them in. But they had to help her bait the hooks as well. Which I must say, she is getting quite good at. She is fast on her way to becoming a master baiter!!!! After a couple of small Grunter and some more small Stumpies and Snappers we also managed a couple of Crabs!! I moved us on to a drift down one of the channels looking for something a bit bigger! But nothing…so I headed for the harbour exit as there have been some good Snapper Salmon coming out. As we start to get our lines in the water Clare says I got something!! Cool I said what is it??? Don’t know looks like a silver snake… turn around to see that she has caught a Walla Walla - just the perfect size for Couta! A few more tries but it had gone quiet again…Ok let’s move…the Tugs are busy in the area and are making a kak wake for everyone. We headed back to our first spot and again Clare managed to find another Walla Walla also the right size. While Dodger entertained my son Colby with his Bling rod and reel!!
