Have a peek at this little Abu 5500 I restored for JD van Der Merwe.
The reel would not turn it was corroded everywhere and the pinion gear was seized onto the spool-shaft. Look at the before then compare it to the after pictures.
This gives you a good idea of the quality and class of workmanship you get from Jonathans Reel Repairs. It all looks simple and straight forward looking at the photos now but it essentially required a lot of skill and experience to get this reel back to the condition you see it in after.
