A couple of weeks ago I was down in SA on a business trip for 2 days.
I always wanted to do fly tying so I popped over the FF Unlimited in Fourways and boy was I impressed with these guys service.
I stopped on the first day and met Rickko who gave me the run down of everything I will need.They took time to explain to me and understand what I was getting myself into even to the extent of arranging me a signed copy of Tom Sutcliffes "Elements of Fly Tying"
Rickko then arranged for me to meet with Murray the following morning at 8:00am as I was flying back to UG.Murray was willing to spend as long as I wanted in shop to explain materials and show me some starting points,unfortunately I had a flight to catch.Oh yeah and when I wallked in I was offered freshly made coffee.(How many tackle stores will do this)We had a smoke together and chatted (Wife wants me to give this smoking kuk up)
I know you cant compare this to a big tackle stores but these guys really make a customer feel good and you dont mind supporting them because other than just selling they willing to educate.This is what I call true lovers of angling and how a business should be run.
After getting all my stuff and back in UG Murray sent me an email to find out how my tying was going which I was really surprised by this because they had already made money from me so why should they care but they do.
I will most definitely be supporting them for times to come.
