Cant type too much, cos my brother is visiting me tonight.
But did i have a great day out on the vaal, really tough winds, but it was still good to fish with a fellow club members, had some good chats and caught some nice fish!!!
So we started of at 07:00, and the lady(Ann) was hammering , she caught 3 in no time, and then i caught a small one, then Schalk came and he caught a couple...we came at a honey hole....and took about 4 fish from it, one that was my biggest for the day, gave a good fight, and Weighed in at 1.4KG(electric scale)...The day started to go a bit slower and then Schalk caught a fat momma...of 2.7KG(Electric scale)
Schalk(5 fish)
Ann(4 fish)
Me(3 fish)

Thanks guys, i had one awsome day, and learned allot!!!
Thanks Schalk, True Teacher of bass fishing!!!Cant wait for  the next time!!!

2. (and catch fish like that nogal) Get onto a local boat, someone that knows the river inside and out!!

But i must say, Schalk realy wants to try out the floating terd one day, so i might take him out some time...would like too hear from someone with a monster boat like his, how he experienced a float tube." Allot slower....lol...if you go 110km/h on the water!!!"

Lol, told you i am a vaalie too :)

i know that launch very well, you see that big tree in the picture background, the last time i was there it had a honey bee nest inside the tree trunk.

Not sure if it's still there but i have a terrible fear of bees and was almost killed by bees some years back.
