2012 NATIONALS

Does anybody know which province will be hosting the 2012 nationals and where it will be held?

I heard a rumour Boland will be hosting it off Transkei / Hole-in-the-wall ??

This normally gets decided at the AGM at nationals.
Apparently ithas not been decided, but there are rumours about hole in the wall.

Next year's Nationals will only be decided at the AGM to be held in June (final dates to follow)

Normally the AGM was held at Nationals, but as the previous SAFA only catered for competitive divers this was "ok"! Even then though, only a few people rocked up.

SAUFF now provides and covers for more non-competitive divers so a decision was made to shift the AGM away from Nationals. We realise that for divers from afar to attend will still be a problem but the modern technology is our friend and we will use innovative methods to make sure EVERY current member of SAUFF can be involved.

As it stands, we have three nominations for Nationals 2012.
1) Stillbaai - Boland
2) Port Elizabeth - EP
and from behind the Boerewors Curtain,
3) Hole in the Wall - Northern Gauteng

All three these areas are phenomenal diving areas and it will be a hotly contested vote, I'm sure.

So I take it we will see a EP Vets team with you, Charl Blignaut and maybe Paul "Grumpy" Baldwin??? (Bloody competitve team I might add)

Grumpy does not associate with us fish killers anymore.

Put Didi in and it would be competitive, even Tommy rated him.

I had a look at the past results.

In 2006, they had Individuals at interclubs in Knysna and not at nationals, so the person who won nationals, did not win idividuals.
