12/0 Z Steel not strong enough

More Toys!! I like the shape of those circles and they look strong. I'm going to try a few circles for Kob. In particular with live bait but also with dead baits. If they work so well for raggies it should be near impossible to miss or loose a Kob on a circle.
Those other hooks look interesting. A lot like the Katana.

Uncle Simen's pet project.

Bit thinner than what I have seen of Katana (not many shops with them here) They are thinner than I thought they would be but forged and Hellish sharp.

Strength would be somewhere between the Ryoichi SOI 3 X and 10026 and the special bend on the hook is awesome in strength.

The smaller sizes will be deadly with Ed, especially with the long cone cut point.

I've tested the circles with bridled mullet and stumpies and absolutely nailed the Garrick with the circles.

The biggest fish I know of on the #24 Mitsui of the Ryoichi is a 27kg Amberjack hooked while fishing for bottoms

LOL Quite sharp for a Ballie.
Next year when we both on the Ballies team we'll give the young guns a proper hiding but until then you Ballies are going down
Next year you and boep should just try to keep up. I am getting more handsome by the day and you two are growing wider. Fish prefer better looking people(don't know whats the story with boep....must be a "Fluke"):fbash:fbash:::S:::S:walk:walk:walk
Uncle Enigma and OOM Simen those hooks look like the business::respekt:

They will be in for a test and trial run very soon, but as to what I have heard and read, we have a winner here. Enigma is just doing the fine tuning and once tested the report will follow

I'm always keen to try something new that may be a little better than what I've been using.

However this thread by title is a problem I currently face!!! My choice of circle to throwbait for sharks has failed me and I therefore have no confidence in it anymore. The Eagle claw 18/0 is propably what I'll turn to for big throwbaits but I'm still lacking a hook for small to medium throwbaits. I'd guess that something like a 14/0 -16/0 Eagle claw is what I'd be looking for. Any suggestions?

@Katot, we grow wider so that the size sharks we catch can't pull us into the water with the oversize tackle we using:fbash and good looks never helped me:wfish

LOL!! has Boep not taught you that when you have a Raggie in Foul terrain you tire it a little then pull it so hard that it comes to the surface to help keep your line clear of reef:fbash:fbash and any way what's wrong with using a 150kg shark as a surface plug?????

BUT don't worry one day when you big like us you'll also be able to pull like that:fbash:fbash
