    To rinse or not?

    Hi I have a Daiwa Crossfire-E 2500-3i reel with a Shimano Nexave rod. When I purchased my reel the guy at Alcock’s Fishing tackle in PE said not rinse the reel after a fishing trip.   What do you guys think? Do I need to rinse it or not?  Cheers Titus
