I'm planning a trip to Henties. Been wanting to do this since got my first bakkie in 2003, but life always had other plans.
I have a one piece rod that I have on roof rod holder. Will there any issues crossing into namibia with the one piece on roof. Or driving around namibia from spot to spot with 4 rods (for the kids as well) on the roof?

No problem taking a rod there. Just make sure you obtain a fishing permit at the local fisheries office. They are very strict so watch your size and bag limit.
