hi all... quick pic of the cob i got off beach at witsand. bait was chokka with pilchard hit into it.

Managed to get my pb cob yesterday morning. Measured 118cm and was sucessfully released. Was caught near stilbaai.got her on low tide and used pillie chokka combo. Also managed a 154cm spotted gully

went on a reccie on friday night with the boys to a spot near stilbaai, managed to land 3 fish, a 2kg grunter, 2.5kg cob and just as the sunset a 9kg cob(all released) The 9kg is my pb... and gave me a awesome fight. Got him on chokka which i hit some pilchard fillets into.

Evening fellow fisherman, Just got back from a week in Keurbooms, had a magical time. The sea was was extremely big the first few days and just managed a few blacktail, small stumpy and a baby sand steenbras. on low tide i stocked up on fresh bait and red crab and by day 3 the water had calmed...

Got this fella in Knysna at 10pm on Tuesday night on prawm mussel combo

caught this little monster sat morning at macassar. was 71cm and caught on fresh sardine. He was released on condition he return to me on his 22nd birthday.

Evening all, Myself and mate are off to witsand on Wednesday to fsh the day and stay over on the beach for some night fishing. we are gong to place called kabeljoubank. Has anyone fished here or got any advice for us? Thanks.. any helpful hints will ensure a fish named after you.. and released...
