Good day all. Just wanting to know if anyone else is having issues renewing recreational permits via the E permit portal on the sea Fisheries website. Tried everything. New password, re registering, emailing the dept. I'll probably have to go old school at the post office, if I can find one...

What is it with some guys who catch certain types of fish like small shark or puffer fish and dump them on the beach.  Hey knobheads, put em back.  Blakes beach, sunday 23rd August.  Brainless morons.

Off to Bot River this weekend and would like to throw in a few lines.  I am thinking of the estuary itself at the mouth.  Or maybe somewhere near Hawston harbour. Or Kleinmont side of the long stretch of beach.  Suggestions anyone?
