hi. No i have not tried them. Generally you would want to see if you can pick up a second-hand article before going to the main source. This was actually my first rod I bought when i started fishing. Freek accident when i drove over it with my bakkie. i do know when you looking for G3 sections it is very hard to come by. But thanks for the information, i will contact them directly.
