Fishing Competition Venue

Hi Guys

we are planning to host a fishing competition in Gauteng

Any suggestions where would be a nice spot?

I posted this before and some one suggested komandonek and it looked good at the time. but now haarties looks pretty much unfishable

anywhere else? perhaps on the vaal?

we looking at about 100 people

yeah, pretty much anywhere on the vaal - left of the bridge in Oranjeville is large enough & it's free, or Tagos if you're looking for private grounds would be ok.

i dont know the vaal dam too well. i usually go to the river

We're looking for a place that has clean toilets and water.

Even if there is a cost attached to it will be no problem

Tagos- do a search on it - you will find gps co=ords & contact details great venue for what you're looking for-there are a lot of other places around the dam,but Tagos is the first that springs to mind
