Hiya all.

I usually just take my dropshot kit down on holiday, but have a mate who is a bait fisherman.

My old surf rod is one-piece and I don't want to have it on top of the car.

What multi-piece rod would you suggest to match my Torium 20 reel?

I have been away from bait for a while, so have lost touch.

You need a 3 piece medium 5-7oz rod. Best on the market would be Assassin or Poseidon, with protective tube. Check Gumtree for used model R1000-R2000

I must say, I don't trust secondhand unseen purchases. Had fingers burnt before, and lingering buyer's remorse.

I'll go and check out the new stuff, unless a used one pops up in JHB/PTA before hand.

Thanks guys.
