Desperate Plea for help - West Coast

Good day all,

Guys, i am not one who easily does what i am doing now, please forgive me.
I have a friend/ex-colleague who desperately needs a job in Vredenburg/Saldanha/Langebaan area and i mean desperately.
He is an ex-fire fighter and medic. We worked together at a company on the West Coast a few years back.
This guy got fired quite a while ago, i know, fired doesn't sound good, but in all fairness, things were not right at that company, even i, in spite of being a professional with high standards, almost got fired. The company practices are not always legal.

He is about 50yrs old, a loyal worker, sober, honest and with heavy vehicle license.

Things got so bad for them, that he sent the kids to stay with people and him and his wife ended up on the street.
Some church members took pity on them and let them stay in a tiny back room behind their house. It is too small for the kids to stay there too and the food money not enough to have the kids live with them. He is currently trying to stay alive by doing all sorts of casual work, but needs a steady job and reliable income urgently.
They asked me a while back if i cant find something for him in Iraq, but his age and the fact that his medical qualifications are not up to date, makes it impossible.
Guys, i am a hard person, i don't ooze sympathy or empathy, but when i heard a while back that he and his wife were on the street and don't get to see the kids, i just wanted to cry. Goes to show, we never know how life can turn on us, a retrenchment here or a bad decision there and it could be disastrous. They didn't end in this situation because they are bad people, but because life threw them a bad curve ball.
His wife sent me a message last night, her heart was breaking because she miss her kids and they are so desperate for him to get a job. Obviously, with them ending up with nothing, "friends" turned there back on them. She begged me to help, she said that i am the only one who still cares about them.
That is my burden, i am like a last hope and only caring friend left, and i must help them.
That is why i am asking your help, is there anyone who can assist this guy with a job, please!!!
I don't care what job, driver, care taker, security guard, anything that can give him a steady salary and help out these desperate people, whom i care about, please.
If anyone can help, please message me.

Admin, i hate to impose, but could you please make this sticky, maybe for a month, to see if we can get solution?

Just spoken to my son-in-law at SPH in Saldanha and they are looking to employ a heavy duty truck driver. So if his qualification are good and he can get a CV to them asap, he might be in with a chance
SPH telephone number:022-7142229
Hope this helps..................

Setobla, thanks for the gesture, but they are very proud and stubborn people and would probably get very offended if someone bring them food. He is kind of surviving with casual work, so lets see if he can cope and if we can maybe find him a steady job rather. Thank you for the generous offer.
