I'm finding it very interesting... Anyone else following it?

Premeditated or accident?

Just what I hear on the news is about as much interest as I have, Can't say I have an educated opinion but the picture seems to be premeditated as him thinking it was an intruder is a lie IMO, though the truth is probably "accidental" in a fit of rage.

Sounds very much like she locked herself in the bathroom and he tried to shoot the door open except she was behind the door??? I'd still consider it murder as anyone shooting a gun into a bathroom must know that the risk of a the bullet ricochaing and hitting the person is very high, and then 3 shots hitting her!! and if shooting at the door to get to someone!! what are your intentions once you get to them??????

So many Shots at an unseen target whether an intruder or not.........I hope he goes to jail.

From what I hear in the office the actual toilet door was in court 2day as part proof of the case against Oscar..

I believe the prosecution came to demonstrate its an open and shut case for Oscar..

I honestly think he is guilty of murdrer and should be prosecuted just like any other person would be should they have commited the crime, becuase he represents SA automatically he can get bail and continue with normal life.

Am following it yes, and the story is just too fishy.

Some stuff that doesnt make sense to me...

1. Who locks themself in a bathroom to go to the toilet when in your own home?
2. According to the report, only the 3rd and 4th shot struck Reeva in the head (thus rendering her brain dead). She would have been screaming at the top of her lungs after the 1st and 2nd shot struck her body. How did he not hear that through the bathroom door, yet neighbors 600m away could hear the screaming.
3.According to Oscar it was too dark in the room to see if she was in the bed BEFORE he went into the bathroom, yet he says when he came out the bathroom he could immediately see that she wasn't in the bed. BUT he hadn't switched the lights on yet according to him? How is that possible?

Something to consider too is the fact that the breaking of the door with the cricket bat may have occurred in part before the shooting took place. Maybe he first tried to break down the door in a fit of rage to get her out, then fired shots in anger, then broke the door completely.
Or was the door even locked and the breaking of the door just an attempt to tarnish ballistic evidence?

Either way, he has definitely got some suspicion around his character (firing a gun in a restaurant and through a sunroof). Seems to think he's above the law

En daaaar sit Oscar Pistorius met nog 'n aanklag teen hom vir diere mishandeling.... Skiet katte in die hof.....

Yes, I have been following it closely.
good for people to see how it is done in court.
just a pity that some witnesses have testified so badly. "onvoorbereid", makes Gerrie nel look like a arse.

the other pitfall is, that with the sec 220 admissions, the public will still not understand how the case is build in front of the judge.

sec 220 admissions are statements not in dispute, ie, the safe guarding of the body that it did not incur any other injuries on its way to the morgue.

the blood samples etc.

the other aspect is his sec 115 plea, and the bail application affidavit.

he was a hero to some, and seeing him fall is the bad thing.

ie: from hero to zero.

sometimes roux is off the point in my opinion, but he gets paid to do a job, he has to try at least.

and the nice thing, even if he fails in his quest to win, he still gets paid. lekker ne.

we will have to wait and see what ballistics will testify. the trajectory will be interesting.

I see they blame the cops a lot for errors made.

I hope this case changes how training is provided in future.

en dat hulle ook die sleg ******* uit die polisie uit kry.
daar is te veel wat net niks doen nie.

so lets wait and see, whats in store on the next episode of our own true life soapie.

Yes, very interesting.

In my opinion, he did not commit premeditated murder. But he is a cowboy, very incompetent with firearms. You can't shoot at something that you are not 100% sure of, and you only draw or shoot when your life is in immediate danger.

Whatever happens, he will never possess a firearm again, and that is a good thing.

I first thought of him as a $&^@(*^ ,when the Mexican beat him in the Paralympics and he complained about the blades-grootkop gekry.I hope he sits for a long time and that his money has no influence on the outcome.
