I need urgent help please,I'm in nelspruit for this week and I brought my bass equipment with if someone know of a dam in Nelspruit please inform me I know of klipkoppies but I don't have a boad so I will stand on the bank. Any info please guys.^^..^^..

Im not sure if the dams down there are overfished or whether they are being netted or what, but from the side it is very very difficult indeed. Why dont you take a couple of small rods and head up to Vygeboom (Beberton area) or even Kwena (Lydenburg Dam) they both have nice carp and kurpers, even bass but again not sure from the side as I usually fish for carp when i visit these waters. In the mean time Ill try and find you details for a smallish dam situated in n plantation that belongs to Sappi...cant promise though!

Ja i manage to get to a few farm dams. i was asking people on site if they know of any people with dams on there farm and one of the guys said he got a dam and im most welcome to come and catch on his farm so i went its about 25km out of Nelspruit i caught alot of bass but nothing propper all was in the 200-300 grms range. Then a ander oom said one of his frends got a dam so he took me to the place it was a beautiful dam but i manage to catch only one then mother nature chased us away with heavy thunder storms.
i only wish i could stay longer and fished more:fbash

Cool, glad you came right in the end! My brother and his mate went fishing the old specimen carp...and managed to land a bunch with the biggest only 6.6kg. He also landed a 1.5kg bass from a boat.

I will definitely try one of the other dams as I am not a big fan of a jet ski over my line.
