Dirty Baitbox

Hi everyone. i recently got out my old bait-box that i'm plannng to use again but the inside smells like the garbage dump!

Does anyone know of a good quick and efficient method to solve my problem?

personally ,
u can use aniseed oil ...
2 cap fulls n fill yr box with water ... let lay for a day ...
wash out nicley & let air for another day or 2 to get smell away ...


box ready for next trip ..

Put some salt and vinegar oops sunlight dishwashing liquid in and stand for a day or two the aniseed that works believe me

Advice we got for a freezer that defrosted when we were away for the weekend was to smear the inside of the freezer with Vanilla essence (after washing the freezer out) then pour a bottle of vanilla essence (small) out into the bottom of the freezer and leave to breath for 2 days.

Worked like a charm and I believe it'll do the trick in a baitbox

Here is a tip for cleaning the top of your box. Next time you catch a shyshark/skaamhaai use it as a scourer! Works well and if you are quick , it swims away strongly!!:fbash

I wash ot my Baitbox and then fill it with water and Bi carbonate soda ( KOEKSODA) let it stand for a dy or two and voila ! No smells or tatses that can effect your bait left !
