I want to use a fan off a PC for a little project.

It's got three wires coming off it. Red, Black and Yellow.

Which ones do I connect to my transformer?.

Thanks.

Hiya tauruck,

Those little fans are usefull!

My DsTV decoder fits tighly into my wall unit and constantly over heated and caused the green screen of death...go even worse in Summer.

I have wired two PC fans to a 12v transformer and there she blows. Cool decoder and no more frustration. Been running for 3 years like this and never a days trouble.

Thanks Trophy.

I have a few here and I figure my decoder needs an extractor too.

Gets very hot where it is.

I connected 4 large CPU fans which I now use as a fan in my tent - haning off the roof and getting juice from the bakkie's battery.  Great thing is it hardly uses any power

Many different types of fans available, from slow to very fast, from small to big

MANY USES other than in PC's

always remember, whatever you put in you must take out
meaning, 1 fan in and 1 fan out
