Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

After seeing the L-Frame tackle box that Angus built, I decided to make one for myself.

I used 25mm aluminium tubing with corner blocks (All bought at Maizeys Plastics) for the frame.  For the middel support beems I used the same 25mm tubing with two pieces of 30mm aluminium flat bars riveted to each side.

For the shoulder straps I used seatbelt material.  I decided to put side release buckles on for easy removal.

For the waist belt, I used the one that I had on my old army H-frame.

The frame is built with two rod holders made made 50mm PVC piping together with two Maglite clamps.

I will try and post my aluminium cutting list on here for anyone interested in building their own.

Now for some pics.

At the same time I made myself some wind-on leaders too.

50lbs Dacron with a 1.17mm Shogun leader.

Emps would be the best oke to speak to regarding stickers. I've got one on my bait box too.

I am still deciding what box to put on my frame. I've got an ammo box, but seems a bit large! I know myself, the bigger the box, the more stuff I pack into it!

I might get a 25L Big Jim to keep it as light as possible for the time being and see how it goes.

Just waiting to get my new rod holders from Sparky, then I will add something to the frame to slide them in.
