Hello Everybody,

The Blood Knot is a firm favourite amongst many fisherman and one of the most widely used in the world. It is most effective for joining monofilament lines of the same or similiar diameters.

Cheers

Cheers Nivi.

The blood knot does have a relatively high knot strength, the turns (minimum of 5) help the knot to absorb strain and shock.

My next illustration folks is, the non slip mono knot... that might prove useful when dropshot fishing.
