Ocean Cat 520 serial number

Good day,

Apologies if I am not honoring forum rules by posting without an introduction.

I am looking at getting back into deep sea fishing again, recently got a place at Port St Francis and I can't sit and watch everyone else fish any longer.

I am looking at buying a used Ocean Cat 520 but the owner is not sure what year the hull was manufactured. It was built by Peter's Watersports but they seem to have disappeared, I cant find any contact details for them.

The serial number on the hull is 002011022007 so I would guess either 2011 or 2007?

Any help from other Ocean Cat owners would be greatly appreciated.

Try and contact Durban ski boat club, theres a few old timers there that might remember or Durban Yamaha, ask for Ryan Hansen he is very helpful and knows a lot about ski boats manufactured in Durban.

Spend some time reading about the company that used to make them and they also made some other brands as well.
