Did a nature guiding course after school. Worked on a Game farm as a safari guide, realized there's more out there.
Studied Nature Conservation, and then went back to nature guiding.
From there I have caught crabs in Houtbay harbour. Had my own carpet and upholstery business.
Decided to just drop everything and become a dive instructor. Worked in Jamaica, Mexico and the Bahamas before moving back to Struisbaai.
Now I Manage a family business for long and short term rentals and i still do carpet cleaning.
I have been metaldetecting as a side hobby since 2001.
