I have been targeting this specie for a while now at Loskop Dam, with admittedly not the success that I hoped for. Well until this weekend :)

With a beautiful sunrise we set our hopes yet again to find those big blues.. I was joined with my family this time round and chartered a boat with a good old friend Alwyn.

Yeah, those are proper kurper! Nice outing, sure its even more relished now under "possibly/probably unlawful and invalid quasi-military curfew and lockdown".

What bait are you using for them, or you get them on lure?
