Hi all,

Taking a shot in the dark here - has anyone lost all electronics to the radio and GPS after pressing the radio call button?

We had our electronics tidied up by Yamaha PTA and both had power, until we tried calling over the radio... then nothing, both dead. Can't see that a fuse blew.

Best to go back to yamaha? or perhaps an easy fix?

Regards

could be a poor connection somewhere

if they use the same power source but they are not connected together as such, then it might only be a dry joint.

radios can pull quite a few amps when sending a message.
the connection probably gave way. that is my suspicion.

Probably a bad earth connection. I had same problem with my auto pilot.
