Little late on posting up been out again to my boat on the Senegal Gambia border , had three guys over as guests and all had a great time ,
The biggest fish went 6.5 kg looking slightly worse for wear the fish I think was a possible escapee from the nuisance nets men they have appeared by magic since I started fishing there a few years ago , hopefully il get them removed from the river in the end , it’s not so much the locals it’s illegal boats from Mali that seem to be the problem ,some of which I’ve already sent packing back to Mali , all the fish the boys caught was either casting or trolling , also had one on the fly which I think is a first in this area ,temperature was soaring above 45 c and the fish stayed deep , it was hard fishing but the guys persisted.
