When fishing off sandy beach in the surf, I have always been taught that one places the cast directly onto the sand bank (dance floor), near first or second break especially if one sees some sand kicking. I have been relatively successful, but have found inconsistent and smaller Steenbras 1 - 2 kg.
I would be interested to hear opinion on if one fishes the edges of the bank or directly in the deep holes....do the bigger fish hold there....especially if there is a bit of a side current.
