I wonder what action this product would have in the water. If you look at a sea lice pinned on a hook anchored to a sinker, it tumbles mostly due to the water movement, with probably thousands of diff actions until it is eaten by a fish.

Probably would fish it in a similar fashion, ie a fixed sinker or have it weighted in such a way that it sticks very near to the bottom,or on the bottom bouncing along the sand with extremely short movements.

Did you manage to get hold of any and did you have any results with them?

Hi Cobia

I have contacted about 5 shops in Pretoria/Centurion, nobody keeps stock of these soft plastics anymore. According to them the dropshot phase in RSA dwindled and it is no longer feasible to carry stock. Ordering directly from USA is massively expensive ........no go.

My thought was, for pompano and natal stumpies, to rig one plastic with my regular live sea lice bait presentation in order to have bait in the water for longer. At Sodwana and Vidal natural sea lice disappears within a couple of minutes thanks to small wave garricks, resulting in plenty hard work. Off to Sodwana again in a few days time, maybe we can still get advice where to get it before we go down.
