Hi Guys, for those interested, there will be an episode of Inside Angling at 7pm tonight on SS8, featuring fishing for kob on paddletail in the Transkei surf. Check it out!

Hi Stefan, Thanks! We did lose a couple of paddletails, but not many, probably one a day between us, which isn't bad. Some areas can be worse, it depends on the structure. It is always worst the first time you fish a spot. Once you know where the bricks are it gets easier!

The Jig heads I used are made locally by Mad Mullet. I ordered them from their web site, where you can choose the hook size. I went for 6/0 and 7/0 hooks and they were perfect!

There will continue to be re broadcasts of the show during the week, just check your supersport schedule on channel 208.

There is another episode coming with the other species caught (on bait) at the same time. These include: Black musselcracker, silver musselcracker, stone bream, cape stumpnose, bronze bream etc.

The Mad Mullet stuff is good quality, I use their jig heads and garrick plugs as well!
