What fish?? Please help...

I was fishing in the Sedgefield river estuary yesterday and caught this fish.
Could someone please help me identify it?
I was fishing for spotted grunter in the shallows on the sand with pink prawn and this guy didn't even bite, just took off with my line!
When i finally got him in i was puzzled as to what species i had actually landed.
I first thought he was a bream, and after a lot of googling, i am leaning toward a Yellowfin Bream or a Natal Stumpnose, but the stumpnose description of darker lines when out of the water doesn't quite fit.
If there is anyone out there who might be able to help identify this guy and possibly what the record catch for one of these is as a matter of interest?
My Elbe fish scale weighed him in at 4.5kg.
Thanks for your help...

Looks like a really good Cape stumpnose to me. Well done!

Thanks for the reply.
I searched online and found the following description of a Cape Stumpnose...

"Colouration is silver and cape stumpnose have a distinctive yellow line running along the middle of each side located below the lateral line, although this line is often less noticeable in large specimens."

Mine had numerous yellow lateral lines from the middle to top of the fish and all lines are quite yellow and pronounced as you can see.
It does fit the description of habitat and what it feeds on, but i'm still not convinced...??

I don't think that is a Cape Stumpnose, the head is too pointy.
Probably a Natal Stumpnose but difficult to be sure with that camera angles.

It could also be a Panga , find them all along the coast from Cape Town to Durban.

I've caught 1000's of panga and this is Definitely not one, they a completely different color and caught in deeper water
I did look online and didn't think it was a Panga judging by the pics i saw. I still think maybe a Yellowfin Bream but i'm not sure how to make exactly sure other than ask around? I was hoping someone here had caught something like this before.
Any suggestions on a site i can submit a picture for validation??
Thanx

Neither Panga nor yellowfin bream get that big as far as I know.
I looked in one of my books and I think it is a Natal Stumpnose.
They can be found that far South and I've seen a few come out of EL rivers.

I fish fo the enjoyment of it so i put him back to grow a little bigger.
But i was wondering how this fish is to eat?
Do they get less tasty the bigger or not?
I've heard they're pretty good to eat.
Thanx all for the input.
