Hi Every body.

I Need same help here. A Mate of mine recently found this skeleton of a fish at the vaal dam, but im unable to identify it. Many say its a grass carp but it does not look like it to me. The teeth are way to big and it aint a tiger fish either.

Any help will be apreciated

Nothing that I have seen, experienced or heard of with teeth like that in the Vaal. That is puzzling indeed.

Anyone?

hmm...something fishy here...
Have a photo from a different angle perhaps?
Trying to gauge where it's eyes are.
Is it lying on its head, gill plates up?
Assuming it's not another photoshop hoax i'm not going into the Vaal anytime soon

Maybe it is the pharyngeal teeth that carp etc is supposed to have in the back of their troat... I have never really wondered how it looks but maybe this is it... ;)
